Our Inspiration: Inspired by the time I spent working and traveling around Ghana and Zimbabwe, learning from skilled women artisans who have passed down their craft through generations. These experiences have inspired me to create my own handmade pieces, crafted either in Ghana or Vancouver, Canada, using authentic Ghanaian Ankara and African printed fabric.

Why Nhyira Gems?
- Authentic Ankara and African Fabrics: Ankara fabric uses batik, an Indonesian wax-resist dyeing technique. This method involves resisting the dye from penetrating all areas of the cloth, resulting in beautiful and intricate patterns. African fabrics are characterized by the use of mostly colorful, vibrant designs. Our curated fabrics are made in Ghana.
